How to Write Tests

This site is about how to write tests. It covers both test-taking and good test design.

The site is intended for three audiences:

  • General Public: students and their parents;

  • Educators: classroom teachers, grades 3-12 and post-secondary instructors (professors, lecturers, and college teachers);

  • Student Teachers: especially those taking courses in test construction or wishing to design a test as part of their practicum.

This site was initiated by Dr. Robert Runté, Faculty of Education, University of Lethbridge in support of his Education 3604 course module on Student Assessement and was expanded with funding from the Teaching Development Fund of the University of Lethbridge as a professional development resource for faculty in other departments.

If you have any questions or comments email the editor, Dr. Runté
